EFFICACY AND SELECTIVITY EVALUATION OF SEVERAL FERTILIZER EMPLOYED AS BIO-STIMULANTS ON STRAWBERRY (FRAGARIA X ANANASSA) IN ITALY
The trial was set up in a farm sited in Peveragno – Piedmont Region, North-western Italy - in a typical strawberry cultivation area.
It was evaluated the efficacy and selectivity of the test products Amminoacid Animal origin AMETECH and Amminoacid Vegetable origin + AMETECH at 300 mL/100 L as bio-stimulants on strawberry (Fragaria x ananassa) in comparison to the reference products Amminoacid Animal origin and Amminoacid Vegetable origin at 300 mL/100 L.
All the tested products were applied three times at 10-14 days interval, starting from pre-flowering stage (April 10th ).
The test products Animal origin Amminoacid + Antibouncing and Vegetable origin Amminoacid + Antibouncing showed a slight increment of sugar content of ripe fruits compared to the untreated check and to their respective references Amminoacid Animal origin and Amminoacid Vegetable origin.
No clear effects on flower induction, yield and shelf-life of fruits were pointed out.
No phytotoxic symptoms were observed on the crop in all the treatments where the different products were applied, showing a complete selectivity on strawberry, Clery variety.
